Highlights from the Project

The Bali Children’s Project (BCP) is dedicated to improving young lives through education.  It is founded on the belief that as children are empowered to realize their potential, they will enrich their villages and contribute to the world we all share.  By providing opportunities for education, we are giving children the chance for a better tomorrow, while lightening the burdens of today.  BCP is a 501C3 non-profit registered in the state of California and Indonesia.
The Story
 The Bali Children’s Project began with the private support of a few needy girls. Over the years we have grown and expanded the services we provide.
Today our activities include:
  • creating rural kindergartens and pre-schools
  • teacher training
  • sponsorship of individual children
  • providing school and classroom materials and enhancements
  • support for Balinese traditional arts
  • formation of children’s gamelan orchestras
  • volunteer placement
  • English language and computer training
  • micro-investment program for women
  • business enterprise programs for village women
